Reach

Although wood softens in a ship, a wayward tide may give you lift, taking on gifts. A cyclone on its own persists, this reaching out, you'll take a risk, cut backs and twists. Oh falling under your feet, someone knows just what you need. Curling, clinging overnight, impossible, approaching flight, just needing sunlight. Oh falling under your feet, someone knows just what you need.

Never Want

We were alone when the rain fell, it swept upon us deep in thought, cutting red rock corners, locked in embrace, the embers caught. I never want to go without you, we promised we’d believe it’s true. If a lifetime were to follow, the course I think I’d like it too. Would there be sense in tomorrow, and is it fear that keeps me true. I never want to go without you, we promised we’d believe it’s true. Inside the signs of care, the flint lines of devotion, casting a glance of despair at your shimmering emotion, I never want to go without you, we promised we’d believe it’s true, I never want to go without you, we promised we’d believe it’s true.

 Lie Detectors

Calling in Lie Detectors cos I cannot believe, switching all salutations when life goes on a killing spree, needing subsidence correctors because my life’s receding, calling all Lie Detectors cos I cannot believe. Oh remember what you’ve done, turn the lights out when you’re gone, remember you’re not the only one, no you’re not the only one. Stalling all interceptors who think they cannot be wrong, reminds me of Mr Ali who maintained he could not get stung. Breeding requirement protectors oh please you must be joking, I’m calling all lie detectors cos I think I may be choking. Oh remember what you’ve done, turn the lights out when you’re gone, remember you’re not the only one, no you’re not the only one.

Holding On

When your earth starts shaking, when your plates start cracking, smashing, crashing, when your room starts rattling, when your head keeps swirling, turning, burning, you’re learning. Holding on again, and huddling down, soldier on again, your feet don’t need to touch the ground. When your hands are trembling, when your knees keep knocking, rocking not stopping, when your cuts keep opening, the air will help them feel not so sore, when you feel like breaking, faking, taking, not making. Holding on again, and huddling down, soldier on again, your feet don’t need to touch the ground. Holding on again, soldier on again. When your world keeps blackening, when your light keeps fading, shading paling, hold on. When you feel like cursing, just say a little prayer, when your tether is ending, bending, wrenching, not mending. Holding on again, and huddling down, soldier on again, your feet don’t need to touch the ground.

 Let It All Go

Open to Interpretation

Sakura

Hard facts, losing tact, to leave or not to leave? Fall on your back, sit and relax, there are voices over yonder. Feeling small but standing tall, tis the season for sewing ‘o’ seeds. Cut through the crap; see where it’s at, time will come for slumber. Loosen. Carry on. Sakura will bloom hereafter. You’ll be free from labour. It won’t always be painted in umber. Sinister slack, back to back, faces turned to sea. Echoing laugh, epitaph, don’t paint it all in umber. Loosen. Carry on. Sakura will bloom hereafter, we’ll be free from labour. It won’t always be painted in umber.

Breaking All Lines

Warning sign, stealin time, breakin all lines, breakin all lines, this warning sign. Running blind. Feel like crying, all the time, all the time, running blind. Breakin all lines, now. Breakin all lines, now. Breaking all lines, and it ‘s another warning sign. Treadin’ tides, hoping to find. Throw a lifeline, it’s taking too much time, throw a lifeline.

Kizuna

Odds or even bets, there’s a chance it maybe over. Four leaved clover you may never find. Time waits for no other man, seasons change and it gets colder, stretching out your other hand, it gets easier when you’re older. Behind your smile there is something lost or something frozen. I ain’t supposing its leaving you silent. Waiting in the line again, can I still do what I oughta, stepping up time and time again, and remembering Kizuna. Still the family ties, if they don’t need fixin they ain’t broken. Tokens left behind, some get lost and some get stolen. Time waits for no other man, seasons change and it gets colder, stepping up time and time again. It gets easier when you’re older.

Count the Sheep

Lay it down, fishing town, go to sleep. Don’t play it down, farming town, count the sheep. Be wary of the sea, she don’t give it all for free. Losing ground, nothing profound, just let it ease. Be careful of the sea, she don’t care much when you bleed. She said to leave, it’s not enough when you bleed. She’ll leave you all in your need, it’s better now to recede. The aftermath took all in it’s path, sob, sob grieve. Be respectful of the sea, she won’t give it all for free. She said to leave, it’s not enough when you bleed, she’ll leave you all in your need, it’s better now to concede. It’s falling on me, it’s calling on me, it’s dawning on me, she’s letting me breathe. Obliterating streams, communication’s left to dreams, so much tragic loss - believe, so many people left in need. Quiet town, don’t make a sound, go to sleep.

I Remember This

I remember this when we were kids, I remember times, and I remember lines, and I remember you saying, we’ll never stop our playing. I remember when you lost your favourite pen, and I remember you crying, but never stopping trying, and I remember when, you first counted up to ten. So long, so long. So it’s different now, it seems forgotten somehow. It could be good again, like when we were ten.
